    This decade blows

    Didn’t hit me in full until a few minutes ago.. Heard a BMW commercial hawking “oh-11 Z4’s.” Oh-11?! Jesus. That is gross. We were spoiled, ladies and gentlemen. For decades we could, without batting an eye, drop a nice ‘04, or ‘97 or ‘86 or even ‘52. Now we have this situation ahead of us for next 8+ years. Oh-11… By god. “Oh did you hear? The Meadowlands are hosting the oh-14 Superbowl!” Horrible. Terrifying. Put me in cryo-sleep until the 2030’s, at least.

An uncertain impasse... no that would be a decided passe, so to speak, clearly not the case. A certain impasse then. A storm bereft of rain, a father sans child, a warrior with nary a cause to fight for. Be yourself, that's society's mantra, but when you don't like who you are.. well, then what?
