    Gay Weddings

    If the ethos of this gay marriage legislation is to better integrate gays into society, then shouldn’t we stop saying patronizing things like ‘yayyyy first gay wedding!’ ‘Omigod! Three gay weddings this month!!!!’? It’s disingenuous, is it not? No one likes weddings, and by acting like you like gay weddings more you keep perpetuating the same problem of divisiveness. I’ve made this post about like 6 different things in the past, and I’m making it again because this is the new ‘I’m progressive!’ wankfest and it’s obnoxious. You’re not progressive, you’re in fact kind of a scrub.

An uncertain impasse... no that would be a decided passe, so to speak, clearly not the case. A certain impasse then. A storm bereft of rain, a father sans child, a warrior with nary a cause to fight for. Be yourself, that's society's mantra, but when you don't like who you are.. well, then what?
