Those clipboard holding sons of bitches wanting me to sign up for this or that always try and get me with that question. It’s obnoxious because by not doing whatever it is they want you to do, you’re basically telling them, and the world, I guess, that you hate gays. So they guilt people into it! I can’t believe this works, but I see that it does. I see it in peoples’ eyes as they pause, consider, and then go and listen to that hawking gay advocate and sign some petition and get put on 62 newsletters.
If you want me to support something you probably shouldn’t try and scheme me into doing so, because that’s illegitimate and it just proves you have no faith in the caliber of your cause. And if YOU have no faith in it, it must suck.
